The company’s production areas and laboratories are placed in the centre, the core of the building. All other auxilliary working spaces are positioned to surround this core.
NESTLING INTO THE GREEN
Located within a dense woodland area next to the Cyberpark Foundation Building in Ankara Bilkent Cyberpark, this R&D building exists in harmony with trees and the surrounding green.
The company’s production areas and laboratories are located at the core of the building, with other workspaces arranged around this central core. This configuration ensures that, within diurnal work routine of the company, employees at their desks remain aware of the pine forest surrounding the building.
For a building covering approximately 2,000 square metres, the relocation of about 170 trees was planned. The building’s orthogonal form, the mass with protrusions and fully transparent facades, intends to enhance the building’s interaction with the environment.
