Fatih Yavuz and Emre Şavural, co-founders of FREA Architecture, were guests on 22 August at the Open Architecture (Açık Mimarlık) programme on Açık Radyo, prepared and presented by architect Yağmur Yıldırım. The radio programme discussed the new arrangements and improvements made around Eminönü, a central location in İstanbul. During coastal and environmental new townscaping between Eminönü Square and Unkapanı, an urban coastal junction, old bus terminals were removed with the car park that, allowing the square to be connected to the sea as an urban public space.
