In the 2025/16th National Landscape Architecture Awards, “İzmir B. B. Fırat Nursery Urban Landscape Design Project on the Basis of Ecological Planning” by Cemil Hamdi Okumuş, Ezel Yağmur Çebi Okumuş, Paşa Kaya (ECO.laud) and Emre Şavural and Fatih Yavuz (FREA) was deemed worthy of the Project Promotion Award given this year with the theme of ‘arid landscape and water management’.

In the evaluation meeting attended by Pınar Kesim Aktaş, Murat Zübeyir Memlük, Zeynep Özen, Özlem Şenyol, Emrah Yalçınalp, Özay Yerlikaya and Tahsin Yılmaz, the applications submitted in the categories of “General Category Project”, “Special Project”, “Urban Design”, “Analysis and Planning”, “Sustainable Practices and Projects Award in Landscape Design Realised by the Public”, “Prof. Dr. Ümit Erdem Young Landscape Architect Award” were evaluated and awarded. “Communication Award”, “Contribution to the Profession Award” and “Honour Award” were also given.
