“Bir Şehir Kurmak: Ankara 1923-1933” exhibition, open in Cermodern, Ankara, between 13 November 2019 and 12 January 2020, is our first exhibit and exhibition design experience as FREA. From the moment we heard the subject of the exhibition we really wanted to have a part in it. The astonishment our team felt over the depth of research on the modernization and housing practice in Ankara following the city’s declaration as the new capital, kept increasing in the following days. Since we joined the project, over the course of 9 months we had the chance to contemplate the production processes, and to meticulously examine and study the relationship between the content and the exhibit.
