General Design Approaches

While trying to feel its presence with Argos in Erciyes form, at the same time it aims to be a project belonging to that place with its surfaces integrated with land elevations. The mass composition contrasts with the soft motion of the snow-covered skirts of Mount Erciyes. It aims to be a structure that makes a difference in the periphery, a strong and imaginative structure.
In the context of this project, the hotel program, which is divided into bands, establishes a visual and physical relationship with Erciyes Mountain, ski lift, and ski area because the strongest reference to the design is the relations with the ski slope. The building which forms its references with the direction of the ski area is articulated with terraces to the activity area. The circulation between the masses in which the chambers are placed is aimed directly at the ski area so that the users can interact with each other at every step.
Elevation of the surfaces to provide continuity with the ground provides a strong solution to the place where it is located and also provides a structural solution to severe climatic conditions. The program band is divided into two parts while the entrance made in the lower level of the ground by the unloading in the mass is emphasized symbolically. The entrance that combines the rooms with the lounge areas creates the prestige façade by means of transparency. At the same time, considering this permeability structure approach, the hotel is also associated with the day-trip facility area.
Lounges and restaurants are placed on the surface overlooking the ski slope in the principle of absolute dominance. The lounge areas, which are attached to the entrance volume, are transparent on the surface facing the ski area and aim to move the unique scenery into the place. The other reason for this settlement is to assess the potential of the hotel's connection with the daily center and lift area. All the functions placed on this pit extend to the ski slopes with their terraces.
