By suggesting that the core in the center is divided into two, The Innovation Building Mass is essentially divided into two parts. In this way, it would be possible to use these two masses independent of each other. Through the separation of the masses, an in-between space is created. Thanks to the entrance floors opening to this space, the length of the perimeter façade is expanded, and it would be possible to plan extra independent entrances.
With the void created by the space between the structures, both the PLAZA (Square) in front of the Metro (Subway) station and the social spaces created at the back are connected. Furthermore, the separation of the mass according to the program divisions compose an architectural language. In this way, the plaza turns into a space in between which delineates the entrances to the structures and reaches out to the north. There is a 2.5-meter level difference between the exit of the Metro station and the natural ground.By using this level difference, the entrances to the upper plaza which accommodate the life above were created through an elevation of 1 meter starting from the entrance of the Metro station while the lower ground level is composed of small shops and social spaces. The stairs which connect the lower and the upper levels take us to the green courtyard through the small commercial units.
