REACHING TOP

The starting point of the design is reaching the top level and melting giant closed pool masses in the land. Therefore, such an architectural style that tries making strong relations with the ground is adopted. Rather than coming to the forefront, the aim of the design suggesting a simple silhouette is melting in the land and becoming more closer to the ground.
Basic architectural elements define the masses without leaving principle of the simplicity and they are related to the site and its surroundings on vertical and horizontal planes. Canopies organize new relations and also control natural sunlight by stretching beyond the masses that they cover and it. Walls try to become a part of the land in a way. Open spaces are designed with the same principle of melting in the natural land.
LAND USAGE AND PROGRAM DISTRIBUTION

Main inputs of the design process are big masses of the program, the limitation of the land to apply for the program because of landscape elements. In the light of these realities, big masses of closed swimming pools needing large sitting areas are handled fragmentary rather than solving them together. Potentials of relations which will be made with the land are evaluated with this fragmentization.
USAGE SCENARIOS AND PROGRAM SOLUTIONS

Olympic – water ball poll and public pools are two main groups. The first group is the sportive pool which will be used to make tournaments and to arrange the course. The second group is consists of closed and open public pools that will be used for the entertainment and its surrounded entertainment units.
Entry halls are arranged as they can work together or separately. Access control to sporter areas and change rooms are provided but access to usage except sporters is limited. Changing rooms of two pools are connected behind the entry hall. Thus, sporters can use two pool together in case of training and warm-up before tournaments. The separate working principle of pools is important in terms of operating costs. Tribune edges are transparent as far as possible. By this way, relation with the outside is gained on the same level and visual continuity of interior exterior spaces is provided.
Activity terraces are formed in proper levels for activities around the pool by terracing of topography toward level levels. Nish areas are wanted to form at dense usage with these terraces flowing each other and effect of mass usage is tried to be prevented. Relax areas formed for users wanting silence according to the type of the activity are solved and distributed in the land. Water plays pool is placed lower levels and slides became accessible with the advantage of natural level. The open pool is solved on upper levels from the road with the privacy consideration of users.
The open pool and entertainment pools are arranged as related to each other while they are separated to provide different subspaces to users.
PEDESTRIAN CIRCULATION SCHEME

Pedestrian Alley starts from the lowest level of the land and on itself, arranges access to open and closed units placed on different levels of the land which can work independently. Alley is main access backbone that entry of these units open to it. For disabled access, ramps are thought along the pedestrian alley. Disabled users can go without any help between the upper level and lower level of the alley. Ramps are designed perpendicularly to exit direction, they reach a landing in each 50cm rise and they continue by breaking. Green areas between ramp arms and landing areas are enlarged to soft the hard surface effect.
