The focus of designing informatics and innovation building consists of carrying a strong value forming METU identity to out of the campus, providing continuity of spacious memory and questioning architecturally current response.

The basic inputs in Havelsan Technology Campus project have been Information Security, Flexible Planning principles and Staging Strategies in the existing campus area. The intensive area surrounding the campus area has very high risks for information security that must be provided at the highest level. The main idea is a flexible structuring language that suggests a plan editing that will facilitate to be provided information security. For this purpose, while all service units are put in the wall that faces with the existing residential buildings, the offices are directed to the green living space, which is created in the middle.

Blok type configuration, let the structures locates on the site according to the topography. Therefore, it is achieved an articulated silhouette.

REACHING TOP


The starting point of the design is reaching the top level and melting giant closed pool masses in the land. Therefore, such an architectural style that tries making strong relations with the ground is adopted. Rather than coming to the forefront, the aim of the design suggesting a simple silhouette is melting in the land and becoming more closer to the ground.

3 sports saloon composed mostly whole building in terms of volume. Building plastic is shaped with the expression of working scheme in this saloons. The entry hall is attached in front of these 3 saloons. Entrances of saloons and exits for tribunes are provided over this hall.

It is a producing an idea-problem about a hill looking at the city from the high level, which touches the lives of each citizen of Anamur, lolls against the green. It means becoming up the hill in the tableland geography. Atatepe is as place climbed in order to become cool and spend time. It embraces both Ramadan ball which will be exploded every evening along 30 days and also soccer games playing without goalposts.

The design of the Innovation Building focuses on questioning the classic core solutions within the typology of high structures, searching for the physical equivalent of the issue of permeability and questioning the unity of different program units.

While trying to feel its presence with Argos in Erciyes form, at the same time it aims to be a project belonging to that place with its surfaces integrated with land elevations. The mass composition contrasts with the soft motion of the snow-covered skirts of Mount Erciyes. It aims to be a structure that makes a difference in the periphery, a strong and imaginative structure.

İZMİR CITIZENS and LIFE HABITS

İzmir citizens are as different as İzmir’s gulf,sea, beaches and its climate. Open public spaces, squares, streets, even mussel seller are known and missed by people who don’t live in this city,too.

It forms the foundational basis of the idea of redefining the relationship established by the inhabitants of the city with water. Increasing and diversifying coastal uses has been aimed at intensive use by coastal residents.

The goal is to find an ideal solution between the urban space needed by the structure because of the high-density public functions it contains and the low floor space and the terrain conditions that force this space to be created, such as compacted parcels.
